Launched in 2015, PNNL’s Center for Advanced Technology Evaluation is a computing proving ground, where an integrated measure–model–design evaluation pipeline of early technologies is used to predict their potential, guide designs, and hone future extreme-scale systems and applications. As part of its outreach, CENATE offers collaborative access to its technology within the high-performance computing community.

CENATE’s research primarily focuses on workload applications of interest to the U.S. Department of Energy. CENATE is funded by the DOE’s Office of Advanced Scientific Computing Research.
